I was raised by my grandparents. My grandmother had a GED. My grandfather had an elementary education. When it was time for me to think about college, there was no one in my home who could guide me through the process.
My grandmother loved me with everything she had, but she didn't know what she didn't know. I didn't have a college counselor who had time for me. I didn't have a mentor who could walk me through financial aid. I didn't have someone who could help me imagine a future beyond what I could see from where I stood.
Bluegrass Scholars exists because I want every student in this community to have what I didn't.

Our Admit Bound Academy walks students through every step of the college process, from building a college list to submitting applications and comparing financial aid packages.
We don't just tell students to "apply for scholarships." We help them find the right ones, build strong applications, and track deadlines so nothing falls through the cracks.
Parents and guardians are part of the journey. We provide workshops, resources, and one-on-one support so families feel confident and informed at every stage.
